Breathing Justice I Till we breathe again
No one knows when natural disasters come.
No one chooses to be born in a vulnerable area to take all risks
No one needs a label as an immigrant.
Not everyone has the power to negotiate these things.
Someone
คำจำกัดความ(จริง) I Half-truth
In a decade of longing for justice and survival, in the middle of a time bomb of global crisis, this period is considered one of the defining
points of history in which the people of the world will determine the direction of the future. As we know, the phenomenon of global warming
or climate change or Climate Crisis. Many other words can be used to describe this phenomenon. No matter what familiar words are,
these words cannot fully describe what happened and the feelings of all those affected.
ด้วยเหตุใดกันเล่า I The outline
Considerations of climate justice arise from the unequal vulnerability or bargaining power of each country. Regarding the statistics between
‘Annual carbon dioxide emissions produced per capita’ and ‘The countries most vulnerable amid climate change’, appearing the outlines of
injustice.
.
When we begin to look at this issue more closely, the Climate Crisis cannot be looked at in one dimension only, but humans, animals, and
other living things must be included in the equation. Because when we look at various natural disasters through the lens of justice. Human
rights and Climate Justice are the same thing.
ภาวนาให้เป็นเรื่องสมมติ I Desire to be just a novel
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has predicted that the number of people affected by global warming will expand rapidly
, Causing climate-related migration to increase from 44 million to 216 million in 2050. 172 million people! 172 million people! 172 million
people! will become homeless, malnourished, unable to access clean water and their culture may be lost along the way. When we stop to
introspect and take a moment to think about the question, “Do 172 million people really deserve this?” More than that, how can we be
sure that we will not one day become one of the climate immigrants? If so, it might allow us to answer the above question more clearly.
Breathing Justice I How dare you take my breath away?
Finally, the day that everyone has been waiting for has arrived when “equality” comes in the form of an “equal problem”, the air being a
resource that everyone has access to, changing the shape of the letters to be pollution. No one can avoid breathing, but they can avoid
exposure to air pollution. It may be a marketing strategy to raise the economic level of the country to support increased sales of face
masks or air purifiers.
It seems that the problem of pollution has some way out (escape from death). The cost for some people may be accessible to the price of
preventing various pollution, but the use of air purifiers to be effective must be related to the area. This means that having the power to
negotiate with pollution does not only include the power to purchase electrical appliances. But it depends on how appropriate the
architecture is.
Even though everyone faces the same problem, there is still a huge gap in negotiating power regarding pollution problems.
Breathe I ลมหายใจ
“During the pollution season, we have to move things downstairs to sleep instead. If I move, I don't know where I'll move anyway.”
Residents of the architecture that the family helped build. The top half is wood, and the bottom half is concrete.
“When it came, it just breathed in the air. We can't do anything.”
People live in wooden houses built by families and neighbors, in small villages
A photography documentary that explores people and their shelters.
The mysterious human that appears is up to you to interpret.
